School Testimony

Good afternoon Pastor,

I just wanted to share a testimony with you.

The past few weeks have been a little difficult because Kayla didn't get a place in the school Micah is going to here in Dartford. We have been commuting to Harlow 3 days a week because Ian works from home, he usually takes her to school and works from his car, library, and coffee shops and I home-school twice a week because he usually goes into the office. We've been praying for a space to become available so Kayla can join Micah, he seems so happy in his new school and was telling Kayla she will love it too. She didn't want to leave the school in Harlow because of her friends and her teacher so I think in a way, she was blocking our prayers. But Micah kept reassuring her she will make new friends like he did and everyone is friendly. It was very hard for me to see Kayla like this, usually, she's always up for the adventure.

The Pioneer shepherds help me, especially the Sermon you preached, you said that God cares for the workers, and I truly believe it but although I know his timing is best, while we wait it can be very intense to the point of complaining. I started to pray and I said we are your workers including my children I know you care for them more than I do, it's not practical driving to Harlow so Kayla needs to get into this school.

With God's strength, I send an appeal letter to the Kent Council on Monday and won the appeal. We got a call the next day asking us to come into the school for a tour and to meet Kayla's teacher and to collect the uniform she can start next week Monday praise God. Appeal usually takes 5-6 weeks so wasn't expecting a reply the next day. But God always reminds me that he doesn't go by the books but by the supernatural.

I'm so happy my kids will have this testimony for themselves to see that God truly cares. Kayla liked the school and the teacher and her new classmates they were all so friendly and made her feel welcome. To hear Kayla say I like the school melts my heart.

I took them to McDonald's to celebrate, it was a nice way to end the day. 😊
