I would like to testify of how God moved for me and provided me with a Job I had been praying for, for 4 years!! 

To be a Civil engineer or someone within the design field has always been something I have strived for from school days. But it wasn’t until a few years ago in which that desire was becoming a more distant reality due to me getting older and not having as much time to progress in life. 

It lead to me having to pick up temporary jobs that I didn’t really want to do, however I understood they were necessary as stepping stones in becoming a man which would teach me crucial life skills such as financial management and time keeping. It got to a point where I began to set myself up to switch career paths and find something else. During this period of time I became very frustrated and this even led to my relationship, walk with God and ministry being affected negatively. 

Every time that I would bring this struggle to God I would hear the same voice saying “if you would just take care of your priorities in ME (prayer,study and tithing) and understand your WHY, I will provide and blow your mind”.  I put this off for a number of months because I wasn’t sure if it was God until…

Enough was enough, at the start of the year 2024 I decided I was going to be obedient to that voice. After lengthy periods of time of being lightly rebuked/ encouraged 😂 for not coming to morning prayer considering I live a walk away, I made commitments to God in prayer and tithing but most importantly I began to understand my WHY and the reasons I was doing these things for and that’s when God began to move. 

A very helpful member of our church happened to have links to the career path I was interested in and sent me a number of applications. Fortunately I was successful with one and was fast tracked to the very last stage of interviews (God moment 1). On the Wednesday before the assessment I was stopped by Richard Sampaney in church, who every few months would catch up with me on where I’m at with job hunting, I explained to him I had the assessment on the Friday and he laid hands on me and we began to pray. After uttering a few words he said “it’s very rare that I say this but, you’ve got the job”.😂(God moment 2)to which I replied” oh really, just like that?” LOL. Obviously understanding I would still have to go the assessment and present myself to the best of my ability. Sure enough I was successful and offered a contract as a Senior civil engineer technician apprentice. 

After receiving a number of emails about starting the job, one email came through that kind of freaked me out if I’m honest, it was a pay rise of £2000 !! (God moment 3) A pay rise before I’ve started?? I mean God was just showing off at this point. Honestly he was showing me that if I would just prioritize him and understand why, he would provide and provide abundantly. The verse that has stuck with me throughout this time is Matthew 6:33 which says: 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
